Power Cycle Procedure
1
Disconnect from Dock
Unplug the Type-C connector from your laptop.

- ThinkPad docks: Square connector on the back right
- HP docks: Barrel connector on the back left
3
Unplug Power
Unplug the power cable from the dock.
4
Wait 30 Seconds
This allows capacitors to discharge and resets the dock's internal state.

Reconnect Power
Plug the power cable back into the dock.
6
Restart Laptop
Restart your laptop while it's still disconnected from the dock.
7
Reconnect to Dock
Once your laptop has fully restarted, reconnect it to the docking station.

Verify that monitors, USB devices, and network are working properly.
